Chanting "Om" while focusing on Ajna Chakra

Chanting OM stimulates the ajna chakra, which is crucial for receiving advanced spiritual guidance. To fully activate the ajna chakra, visualize OM starting from your perineum, traveling upward along the kundalini pathway (the central canal of the spinal cord), expanding in your throat, and then being expressed through your mouth. As you vocalize the A and U sounds, keep your mouth open, drawing the sound up from your perineum. For the M sound, close your mouth and produce a humming tone, varying between high and low pitches. Begin by taking a deep breath, allowing your stomach to expand, and as you chant OM, gradually contract your stomach.

Chanting OM stimulates the ajna chakra, which is crucial for attaining advanced spiritual insight. To fully activate the ajna chakra, visualize OM starting from your perineum, traveling upward through the kundalini pathway (the central canal of the spinal cord), expanding in your throat, and being expressed through your mouth. Keep your mouth open while vocalizing the A and U sounds, as if drawing the sound of OM from your perineum. For the M sound, close your mouth and produce a humming tone, alternating between high and low pitches. Begin by taking a deep breath, allowing your stomach to expand, and as you chant OM, gradually contract your stomach. When producing the M sound, contract your stomach in stages, aligning with the high pitch of the humming. As you approach the point of breathlessness, ensure your stomach is fully contracted. Following this method not only facilitates the proper ascent of your kundalini but also ensures the complete activation of your ajna chakra. Focus your concentration on both the throat and ajna chakras. You may practice mula bandha while chanting M, and consider gently biting your teeth during this sound, as previously discussed. These techniques can enhance your practice. It is advisable to learn this under the guidance of a master. This practice will also help clear the path for kundalini to rise to the sahasrara by breaking through the Rudra granthi, located just above the ajna chakra. The blockage at the Rudra granthi can be addressed through jalandhara bandha, either during or before meditation.

When the ajna chakra is effectively activated, penetrating this granthi becomes manageable. However, this particular granthi poses a significant challenge and may require additional time and practice to overcome. The blessings of Gurus are essential in this process. As previously mentioned, the proper activation of the ajna chakra will attract the Gurus' blessings. Once you successfully navigate this final obstacle, you will be on the path to reaching the sahasrara chakra. A well-activated ajna chakra may also grant you certain siddhis, which should be tested but ultimately disregarded. If the lower chakras are not adequately opened, the ajna chakra will remain inactive. A lack of siddhis indicates that your chakras may not be sufficiently activated, signaling the need for further practice. At this stage, your consciousness becomes crucial in connecting with various higher sources. You are unlikely to make mistakes from this point onward; if you do, divine intervention will guide you back. Up until now, your advancement relies heavily on your practice, but beyond this stage, you will find that less effort is required as divine guidance will lead the way.
